WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY ACT 2011 - SECT 149

149 Return of WHS entry permits

(1) The person to whom a WHS entry permit is issued must return the permit to the industrial registrar within 14 days of any of the following things happening—

(a) the permit is revoked or suspended;

(b) the permit expires.

WHS civil penalty provision.

Penalty—

Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.

(2) After the end of a period of suspension of a WHS entry permit, the industrial registrar must return the WHS entry permit to the person to whom it was issued if—

(a) the person, or the person’s union, applies to the industrial registrar for the return of the permit; and

(b) the permit has not expired.
