Rule 153(4) of the Principal Rules is amended as follows:

(a) by omitting from paragraph (a) "the lane" and substituting "the lane, or a road marking comprising both a white bicycle symbol and the word lane painted in white" ;

(b) by omitting from paragraph (b)(i) "the lane" and substituting "the lane, or a road marking comprising both a white bicycle symbol and the words end lane painted in white" .
