Victorian Numbered Regulations Victorian Numbered RegulationsFor the purposes of section 130(1)(e) of the Act, the prescribed conditions that a responsible person must comply with when using a vessel monitoring system installed on a boat are set out in the following provisions of this Subdivision.

Under section 130(1) of the Act, a court may, on the application of an authorised officer, prohibit by order a person convicted of an offence against the Act from engaging in any activity authorised by a fishery licence unless the person has installed a vessel monitoring system on a boat and complies with any prescribed conditions on the use of the system. If the person fails to comply with an order under this section, a maximum penalty of 200 penalty units or 12 months imprisonment or both applies.
