Victorian Numbered Regulations Victorian Numbered Regulations(1) A person must not interfere or tamper with, or damage, the correct operation of a vessel monitoring system installed on a boat used for carrying out an activity authorised by a fishery licence.
Penalty: 20 penalty units.
(2) A person must not interfere or tamper with, or damage, seals that are fitted on a vessel monitoring system in accordance with a requirement of the Secretary under regulation 478(b).
Penalty: 20 penalty units.
(3) Subregulations (1) and (2) do not apply to a person who is—
(a) repairing, modifying or configuring the automatic location communicator of a vessel monitoring system; and
(b) an agent of the manufacturer of the system.
