150. Pollution of public rivers15

Every person who wilfully throws or casts or causes or allows to be thrown or
cast or to flow or fall into any of the waterways to which Part X applies any
refuse filth dirt grease decomposed substance or any poisonous noxious
offensive or unwholesome matter shall be liable for the first offence to a
penalty of not more than 10 penalty units, and for every subsequent offence to
a penalty of not more than 50 penalty units, and in cases of continuing
offence after any conviction to a further penalty of not more than 1 penalty
unit for every day after the first during which such offence continues.
