A person who is
requested —
(a) at
premises specified in a retailer’s licence to sell a tobacco product or
smoking implement; or
(b) to
assist a person to obtain a tobacco product from a vending machine; or
(c) to
deliver goods that are marked as a tobacco product or that might reasonably be
suspected to be a tobacco product or smoking implement,
may refuse to do so
unless the person who is to take possession of the tobacco product or smoking
implement produces evidence that he or she has reached 18 years of age.
