41Q—Effect of court orders of other jurisdictions
(1) In this
section—
"order" means an order in any judicial or other proceedings, civil or
criminal, as in force from time to time.
(2) An order of a
court or tribunal of another jurisdiction under or in connection with a
corresponding road law has the same effect in this State as it has in the
other jurisdiction.
(3) Nothing in this
section gives an order effect in this State or in a particular place in this
State—
(a) in
so far as the order is incapable of having effect in or in relation to this
State or that place; or
(b) if
any terms of the order expressly provide that the order does not extend or
apply to or in relation to this State or that place; or
(c) if
any terms of the order expressly provide that the order has effect only in the
other jurisdiction or a specified place in the other jurisdiction.
(4) This section
applies only to orders of kinds prescribed by the regulations.
