Appointment of clinical reviewers
125 Appointment of clinical reviewers
(1) The chief executive (the
"appointer" ) may, in writing, appoint a person as a clinical reviewer to
undertake a review under this division in the department or a Service.
(2) A
health service chief executive (also the
"appointer" ) may, in writing, appoint a person as a clinical reviewer to
undertake a review under this division in the Service.
(3) However, the
appointer may appoint a person as a clinical reviewer only if the appointer is
satisfied the person is qualified for appointment because the person has the
necessary expertise or experience.
