Definitions


66. Definitions

In this Part unless inconsistent with the context or subject-matter-



"sewers" includes sewers and drains of every description whereby any liquid
refused or any water is carried off;



"street" includes any square court or alley highway lane road thoroughfare or
public passage or place within the limits of the metropolis;



"tenement" includes land whether built on or not.
