(1) This regulation
applies to a residential tenancy agreement that —
(a)
creates a tenancy for a fixed term; and
(b) was
entered into before the day on which the Residential Tenancies Amendment
Act 2011 section 27(2) comes into operation.
(2) Under
section 6(a) of the Act it is provided that section 30(2)(a) of the
Act shall apply to a residential tenancy agreement as if it were modified by
deleting “the amount of the increase, or the method of calculating the
amount of the increase, is set out in the agreement; and” and inserting:
the agreement provides that the rent may increase
or be increased; and
