Victorian Consolidated Regulations Victorian Consolidated Regulations(1) The rider of an animal-drawn vehicle must not ride on a road or road related area in the animal‑drawn vehicle prohibited area, except as permitted under subrule (2).
Penalty: 10 penalty units.
(2) The rider of an animal-drawn vehicle may ride on the length of the road forming part of Victoria Street that is in the animal-drawn vehicle prohibited area.
(3) In this rule—
"animal-drawn vehicle prohibited area" means the area within the City of Melbourne bounded by, and including, the roads forming part of Flinders Street, Spencer Street, La Trobe Street, Victoria Street and Spring Street.
