Expenses of the examination to abide the result

124. Expenses of the examination to abide the result

If upon the examination it appears that the water has been fouled by any gas
belonging to the said person the expenses of the digging examination and
repair of the street or place disturbed in any such examination shall be paid
by such person. But if upon the examination it appears that the water has not
been fouled by the gas of the said person then the Board shall pay all the
expenses of the examination and repair and also make good to the said person
any injury which may be occasioned to his works by the examination.
