Melbourne and Metropolitan Board of Works Act 1958 - SECT 81 

Repairs to meter


81. Repairs to meter

If any repairs to the meter are required such person shall immediately give
notice to the Board; and if he fails to give such notice he shall be liable to
a penalty of not more than 1 penalty unit. Before any repairs are effected a
registration of the quantity of water used shall be taken by the surveyor or
other proper officer of the Board.
