If meter not kept in order water may be cut off

83. If meter not kept in order water may be cut off

If any person refuses or delays to have the meter provided by him properly
repaired and put in correct working order after having been required by any
officer of the Board so to do the Board may shut off the supply of water from
the premises of such person either by closing or cutting the service pipe or
otherwise until such meter has been properly repaired and certified by some
officer of the Board as being in proper working order.
