Means of giving written notice under these Regulations

36. Means of giving written notice under these Regulations



A written notice under these Regulations is to be taken to have been given to
a person if the notice is-

   (a)  delivered personally to that person; or

   (b)  sent to that person by a method agreed by that person; or

   (c)  sent by pre-paid post addressed to that person at the place that the
        Authority or certificate assessor (as the case may be) has reasonable
        grounds to believe is the person's usual place of residence or
        business or is the person's last known place of residence or business-

unless the contrary is proved.
